Initial Ideas

Having taken a few photos i have found that I am interested in Nature. To specify which areas of Nature I will be photographing, I have chosen a couple of fields:

  • Trees e.g. forests, trees at different times of the day, and even leaves and angles.
  • Green e.g. tinting pictures to highlight the green or changing the colour balance.
  • Living Things e.g. photos of creatures, birds and dogs, also showing motion and close ups.
  • Water e.g. colour, close-ups,  bubbles and other features.
  • Flowers e.g. close-ups, focus on detail, colour, patterns and texture.
  • Sky e.g. testing depth of field, colour, landscaping.
I will be taking some photos for each topic above and later decide which I'm more interested and pleased in. Once i am pleased with the pictures and topic  then I'll proceed and use it as my theme :)
Wish me luck :D

Easy Camera Simulator

Just found an easy camera simulator to help see: how aperture, shutter and ISO can affect your image. Varying from grainy to dark and blurry ones. This simulator can help all newcomers to the photography society ;)

Introduction

I'm just starting a level 1 award in Photography at Burton College. Right now I am doing the "Introduction to image capture" Unit (101). I am also going to be doing Unit 107 - Introduction to presenting photo images. Then i will be taking part in the next Unit "Digital Image Manipulation". Soon to become a keen photographer.
